Conservation and Climate Change

Recognising climate change as a major threat to humanity, conservation has positioned itself as actively responding to growing environmental concerns. Coping strategies are necessary that do not rely on denial or blind optimism, but rather on creative adaptation of traditional principles, as well as the restorative power of the transmission of cultural practices, which strengthen and rebuild social bonds. I presented the following talk at the AICCM 2019 National Conference, which I was not able to attend in person — the upside is I can share my ideas here also.
